Cluj-Napoca is a great city placed in the region Transilvania;it is one of the most important academical,cultural and industrial centre from Romania. 

 

TEHNICHAL INFORMATION

 
Cluj-Mineral-Bijoux will take place on Friday 26th, on Saturday 27th and on Sunday 28th February 2010   inside the exhibition place EXPOTRANSILVANIA from Cluj-Napoca
 

SCHEDULE FOR THE EXHIBITORS:

• Thursday 11th February  2010: 14.00 - 20.00 organization stands/tables
• Friday 12th  February 2010: from 08.00 access exhibitors
• Saturday 13th  February 2010: 08.00 - 20.00 access exhibitors
• Sunday 14th  February 2010: 08.00 - 20.00 access exhibitors  during the evening the exhibitors can disassemble the stands/table after the closing hours of the exhibition
•  Monday 15th  February 2010: until 12.00 option to keep disassembling the stands/tables  During the whole exhibition a security daily and night service is available.

SCHEDULE FOR THE PUBLIC

• 09.00 - 19.00:  the exhibitors will have access inside with one hour before the opening and one hour after the closing of the exhibition.

HOW DO YOU ARRIVE AT THE EXHIBITION CENTRE?

You can reach very easily at the exhibition pavilions “Expotransilvania” from the centre in around 4/5 min by bus, taxi or private car.
Cluj Napoca has an international airport with low costs flights and that is connected with all the main European destinations.
 

RESTAURANTS:

You will find inside the exhibition a reasonable restaurant for the exhibits, a full meal at choice from three menus at the price of 7euro, the drink is included. The meal tickets can be bought directly from the organization secretary
 

RESERVATIONS:

Different restaurants and pensions can be found close to the exhibition, if the exhibitors need more pieces of information about prices, reservations or others they can address directly to the organizations staff.

HISTORY

Cluj Napoca is one of the largest cities from Romania, metaphorically called ‘the heart of Transilvania’. The county Cluj Napoca is the twelve largest county from Romania and it represents 2,8% of the total surface of the country. According to the demographical statistics, the county has 689,825 inhabitants.
The city itself has 305,620 inhabitants and it is the most important economical, educational, scientific, cultural and medical centre of this region. Cluj Napoca is a dynamic centre, with many opportunities; it represents an important market for numerous products and services, the inhabitants’ level of living is above the middle average of the country. Furthermore, Cluj Napoca is called a European city due to a large and constant opening toward collaboration with cities from the entire world. Ancient cultural and Romanian civilization centre, Cluj Napoca is situated at the cross of important national and international roads.
 
Turism
Situated at the confluence of the Apuseni Mountain with the highland and the plane of Transilvania, the location attracted thanks to its charm, people that created original permanent values. At each step, one can see edifices, architectural, art monuments, museums and libraries.

The international airport Cluj Napoca connects the county by air with 28 internal and external destinations among which: Bucarest, Timisoara, Budapest, Vienne, Munich, Koln, Frankfurt, Milan-Bergamo, Verona, BolognaMadrid, Barcelona, Valencia, London, Torino, Odesa, L’viv, Athens.
